SVTC Celebrates 22 years SVTC's 22nd Anniversary Picnic was held on Oct. 3rd. Our fun-filled benefit featured a barbecue provided by San Jose Firefighters Local 230 and music by local band Briarwood. There were also informational demonstrations, traditional party games and a piñata for the children, a pie-eating contest, and raffle. As part of its 22nd anniversary celebration, SVTC presented awards and recognizing individuals who have served as champions and pioneers in the movement to build accountability from the electronics industry. Honorees included: California State Assemblywoman, Sally Lieber; San Jose City Councilwoman, Linda LeZotte; Renee St. Denis; Maria Lopez; Wen-Ling Tu; Richard Alexander; Alida Hernandez and Jim Moore; Amanda Hawes; and Lenny Siegel.
