Dutch Flame Retardant Ban Under Fire The Netherlands has placed a ban on FR-720 (a form of TBBP-A used in plastic piping) due to insufficient proof of the chemical's safety by the industry. "A key factor behind the decision was the substance's structural similarity with flame retardant TBBP-A, about which there were concerns."
